When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014, I sought opinions from doctors across the country. Each time, I was given the same response, and although my doctors wanted the best for me, they didn’t seem confident in my ability to beat this disease. It wasn’t until I had a metastatic relapse that I sought an alternative option from Dr. Philip Salem at Salem Oncology Center and immediately found a sense of hope.
