When I was diagnosed with cancer, a nurse who worked closely with Dr. Salem referred me to him. She explained Dr. Salem’s philosophy of care and unique approach to cancer treatment as well as stories of his patients who had been given a second chance at life. I was told about his innovative Individualized Treatment Method which differs greatly from standard treatment that other doctors could provide.
Throughout my treatment, Dr. Salem’s outgoing, caring and positive demeanor gave me the hope I needed to battle my disease. His continued compassion showed me that he was in my corner and that he cared about me as a patient and as a person.
